Royal Trek is four days moderate journeys embark on at Kalikasthan, complete at Begnas Lake with driving from Kathmandu. The northeastern Pokhara valley, Royal trekking established in 1980 when Prince Charles (England) with 90 people joined a camping trip. The hiking journey in the Annapurna region observes Annapurna and Manaslu Himalayan range. The trekking route is popular with its close-up mountain views, picturesque villages, forest, Begnas Lake, Rupa Lake, terraced fields, house pattern, Gurung culture, food habit, dress and stargazing over a night.
Royal Trekking arranged for camping and tea house trek with basic lodges and camping ground along the route. Trekkers can enjoy agriculture farm, animal husbandry, and village lifestyles during the journey. The mixed community people, Gurung, Brahmins, and Chhetris live in the region. The spectacular, majestic views of Annapurna II (7939 m), Lamjung Himal, and Manaslu (8163 m) range are fascinating. The views of shimmering Begnas and Rupa Lake displays wonderful views while walking. Maximum altitude meets up to 1400 m above sea level. Royal trekking passes Lipiyani, Chisopani with forest, gravel road, uphill and downhill paths.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport 1337 m
Day 02: Kathmandu to Kalikasthan (1370 m) – 6/7 hours by car
Day 03: Kalikasthan to Lipeyani (990 m) – 4/5 hours
Day 04: Lipeyani to Chisopani (1260 m) – 4/5 hours
Day 05: Chisopani to Pokhara (830 m) via Begnas Lake (850 m) – 4/5 hours
Day 06: Pokhara to Kathmandu 1350m - 7 hours by bus
Day 07: Departure to Tribhuban International Airport
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport 1337 m
When the flight land at Tribhuvan International Airport, take a 6 km drive with our guide, takes 25 minutes to reach the hotel. Check in hotel and guide will brief the programs. Stay overnight at a hotel with breakfast in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Kalikasthan (1370 m) – 6/7 hours by car
A bus takes 7 hours to reach Kalikasthan. During Kathmandu-Kalikasthan driving, snow-capped mountain, Trishuli River Valley, cable car station, Marsyangdi River Valley, highway towns, terraced field, villages, domestic animals, and jungles can glimpsed.
Kathmandu to highway town Malekhu is 72 km. Here you can rest for lunch, toilet and river scene. Malekhu to Kurintar is 32 km with a cable car to Manakamana. Kurintar to highway town Mughling is 6 km, here is one road goes to Chitwan and Lumbini.
Mughling to the Abukhaireni is 6 km. Here one road goes to Gorkha Durbar. The Abukhaireni to Dumre is 17 km. Here one road goes to Besishahar for Annapurna Circuit Trek. Dumre to highway town Damauli is 16 km. Damauli to Kalikasthan is 50 km. Stay overnight at lodge in Kalikasthan.
Day 03: Kalikasthan to Lipeyani (990 m) – 4/5 hours
The walk through gravel road towards a forest ridge. Continue to walk through Thulokot and Majhthana (1220 m) in 50 minutes from Kalikasthan. Climb gently in 1:20 hours through Naudanda to Patle. Descend gently in 1:30 hours to reach Lipeyani. Here are the Himalaya views, including Fishtail, Annapurna, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. Stay overnight here at Lipeyani.
Day 04: Lipeyani to Chisopani (1260 m) – 4/5 hours
Walk on a gravel road for some distance then climb gradually to Dharapani in 45 minutes. Continue walks to Shaklung village (1250 m) of Gurung people. Walk through gravel road with forest to Ramkot (1030 m). Climb down steeply to Sorya Bhanjyang (870 m) in 1:15 hours. Climb up steeply with stone steps passing through a forest of chestnut to reach Mohariya Bhanjyang 1130m in 45 minutes. Continue climb gradually to Chisopani in 35 minutes. This is a Gurung Village. During the day, view of Annapurna is beautiful. Chisopani has snow capped mountain views and terraced fields. Stay overnight at a camp.
Day 05: Chisopani to Pokhara (830 m) via Begnas Lake (850 m) – 4/5 hours
Walk Chisopani to Thanti in 45 minutes. Climb downhill along a ridge, then descend steeply with stone steps to small valley and stream in 1:30 hours. The walk continues through terraced fields, then climbs to Sundari Danda (720 m) between Begnas and Rupa Lake in one hour. Continue climbs and descend to Begnas in 25 minutes. Here is Begnas Mountain Resort (58 rooms), shops and link road. Take a car for the 18 km road to Pokhara in one hour. Stay overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 06: Pokhara to Kathmandu 1350m - 7 hours by bus
Kathmandu has located 204 km to the east. Tourist bus takes 7 hours to approach there. During the bus drive between the Pokhara and Kathmandu, the scenery is interesting, such as snow-capped mountain, Marsyangdi River Valley, cable car station, Trishuli River Valley highway town, terraced field, village, domestic animal and forest-clad hill. The Gunadi is 45 km next where the bus stops for 30 minutes. The Gunadi is Malekhu is 87 km next where the bus stops for 30 minutes. The Kathmandu is 72 km next where the bus stops. Take a taxi to the hotel with a 1 km road. Stay overnight at the hotel with breakfast in Kathmandu.
Day 07: Departure to Tribhuban International Airport
The airport is 6 km far, which takes 25 minutes by car. Get airport 3 hours before flight departure. We wish you safe and happy flight.
