Lhotse climb

Lhotse climb is an adventurous journey to the fourth highest mountain (8516 m) in the world. It is located northeast Himalaya of Nepal. The Swiss Expedition led by Ernst Reiss and Fritz Luchsinger first climbed it on 18 May 1956. The mountain translates South Peak that lies south of Mt. Everest. The Lhotse Middle (8414 m) and Lhotse Shar (8383 m) are in a range. Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2860 m) in 30 minutes and walk 7 days through Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Pheriche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep to approach the base camp.

Lhotse climb lies in the Mahalangur Himal that is a part of the Greater Himalaya. The prime route of the mountain is Mt. Everest’s South Col. The first unsuccessful attempt was in 1955 by the mountaineer Norman Dyhrenfurth. During the expedition, the views of the neighbouring mountain are supreme such as Everest, Island Peak, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Pumori. The first Nepalese, Urkien Tshering Sherpa climbed it on 8 May 1977.

Lhotse climb offers the trekking trip with Sherpa culture, flora, and fauna before the expedition. The Swiss, Japanese, South Korean, Italians, Austrian, Germans and Poles successful climbed it. Contact with Yeti Trail Adventure for the expedition experience. Read the further information below.
